JOB DESCRIPTION

Northeast Veal is looking for a qualified candidate with a hands-on work ethic, disciplined, consistent, and hard working.

JOB DUTIES

Efficiently work in a challenging fast paced environment with excellence
Package fresh meat in bags or film per company standard
Loading materials and products into package-processing equipment, measuring, weighing and counting product materials
Place appropriate labels on packaging
Ability to learn meat cutting skills in a factory environment
Sanitation duties as assigned by Manager
Understand and adhere to company policies and procedures
Ensuring proper product presentation and yield standards are always met

QUALIFICATIONS

Strong attention to detail and ability to work quickly while maintaining a high priority to the safety of our workforce
Maintain acceptable attendance during designated workdays and hours
Ability to be a team player, and work well with other coworkers
Self-motivated and strong work ethic

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to perform the following physical activities: Job requires workers to lift up-to 60 lbs. must be able to: step, climb, balance, squat, kneel, bend and reach above shoulders as needed
Work in a cold refrigerated environment
Ability to stand for long periods of time while working
